Just an idea and maybe it exists, in which case lets consider this a request to the “lazyweb”.
I would like my mail to have autotext and auto linking. Like Zemanta for google, but more importantly one that learns from me.
ie. every time I add a link to a word or name, my email remembers it and automatically adds the contextual and semantic information other occasions. Builds up a link map with other information. For example Open Design City has a map link, and a website link.
Could be useful for building the semantic web.
